Spaces are virtual work spaces that you can create for the different groups within your larger collaboration community. They allow you to organize teams, groups of people, and content. By creating spaces for specific groups, you can organize information better, cut down on clutter, improve communication, and encourage participation.

Public SpaceAnyone can find, view, and join a public space. This type of space is perfect for company-wide groups or information.
Private SpaceA private space is unlisted and unsearchable, and users must be invited to join the space. This type of space is suitable to keep certain content, conversations, or projects private.
Sub SpaceIs your space getting too big? Create a sub space within the space to specialize people or content.

Space Activity Stream
The Activity Stream displays wall posts and recent space activity. Post to the Activity Stream and attach photos, files, or videos; link to external content; or @mention people or content.
Space Activity Ticker
The Activity Ticker displays finer details of space activity.
The Space Menu on the left includes links to content, custom tabs, and space options.
The Space Info page provides information about the space's description, visibility, moderation, creation date, and creator.
On the People page you can view all the people in the space as well as search for people. You can also invite and add people to the space.
On the Search page you can search for content by keyword and sort and filter results to find what you are looking for.
You can moderate content before publication with workflow.

Communifire supports two-way syncing for Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, Sharepoint, and OneDrive.
Manage Space: Workflow
A workflow consists of a series of moderation steps where the content must be approved before it gets published. Each step is based on a user role. Before the content becomes active, a person with the required role must approve the content. Manage pending content in Manage Space.
Manage Space: Page Builder
Page Builder is an easy drag and drop tool that allows you to create beautiful content-rich pages throughout your intranet. Page Builder pages are responsive, meaning they are friendly to desktops, tablets, and mobile phones. Page Builder provides pre-built widgets like the ones in the screenshot below for you to get started quickly. You can easily create a page like the one below.
Manage Space: System Properties
System Properties are additional space settings not available in Manage Space: Settings or Manage Space: Application Settings . Use System Properties to turn additional features on or off in a space.
Manage Space: People
Manage the members of a space in Manage Space > People. Space Administrators, space Moderators, and members with user administration permissions can manage space people. You can remove space members, set space roles, and approve or decline join requests.
Manage Space: Roles
Creating user roles helps you organize people into groups and assign permissions. These roles are most commonly used for customizing permissions and for workflow approval steps.

Content Management System (CMS) in Communifire is a way to create custom pages with static content.

Dynamic Properties can be used to add content in places throughout a space. Dynamic Properties can also be used to send notifications to everyone in a space and to provide templates for the rich editor.

View and delete expired and upcoming expiring content. The content author and people with the Moderator role will receive a notification when content expires.

The Communifire analytics feature collects data regarding site traffic and other metrics and displays that data in easy to understand visualizations. Manage Space > Audience Overview reports report high level analytics for the space.

Activity emails are summaries of activity inside a space the user is a member of and is subscribed to. You can customize the email template as well as configure your intranet to send Daily Digest Emails, Weekly Digest Emails, or both.

Create a new space with the same internal settings as an existing space and none of the content or people.

Delete a space and its content.
Communifire has various content types for publishing news, posting thoughts, discussing ideas, collecting feedback, and more. You can turn content types on and off in your space as needed as well as manage content in Manage Space.
