There are several ways you can interact with content in Communifire, such as commenting, liking, rating, bookmarking, and more. Interacting with content engages you, the author, and other people. Content interactions encourage collaboration and increase engagement.
Edit Content
You can edit your content by searching for it or from My Content. Space administrators and moderators can also edit space content from Manage Space. Site administrators can edit content from any space in the Control Panel.
Delete Content
You can delete your content by searching for it or from My Content. Space administrators and moderators can also delete space content from Manage Space. Site administrators can delete content from any space in the Control Panel.
Save as Draft
Save content as a draft and edit it later. Supported content types: articles, blogs, ideas, and wikis.
Content Expiration
Ensure that content in your intranet is always current and accurate by using content expiration. Select the date and time to expire content, and whether the content should be visible or hidden after expiration. Content expiration keeps the knowledge base in your intranet relevant and accurate.
Tags
Tags give your content and conversations context and make everything easier to find, while connecting you to similar information. All of the content in Communifire, from blogs and wikis to photos and discussions, can be tagged with keywords. Common tags include departments (marketing, sales, hr) and topics (training, safety, branding). Communifire even suggests popular tags for your content.
Required Reading
The Required Reading functionality allows an author to flag published content as mandatory reading. It also allows tracking of users that have indicated that they have read the content.

Share content with someone via email.
Bookmark
Bookmarks are your personal library of saved content. Bookmarks store content that is important to you, all in one place. You can use bookmarks to save a wiki for future reference, save an article to read later, or save an idea to revisit.
Report Abuse
Report abusive content to flag spam, profanity, abusive content, or other issues. Site administrators and moderators are notified of the abuse report. Admins or moderators can deactivate, activate, or delete flagged content. This feature helps you maintain a professional environment on your intranet.
Export as PDF
Save content as a PDF.
View History
Communifire keeps a history of edits to all content within the platform. Each time you edit content, a new version is created. You can view the version history, compare versions, and restore a previous version. Supported content types: articles, blogs, files, ideas, and wikis.
Roll Back Content
Need to undo changes? Roll back content to a previous version to restore an older version. Supported content types: articles, blogs, files, ideas, and wikis.
View Report
View report shows content statistics, sentiment analysis, and the content read report.
Copy Content
Copy content to another space. Supported content types: articles, blogs, files and folders, photo albums, videos, and wikis.
Move Content
Move content to another space. Supported content types: articles, blogs, files and folders, photo albums, videos, and wikis.
Rating
Rate content out of 5 stars.
Likes
Like or unlike content.
Dislike Content
Dislike or undislike content.
Follow Content
Follow content to receive notifications when the content is commented on or updated. Never miss out on important updates and conversations again. Supported content types: articles, blogs, events, files, ideas, photos and albums, videos, and wikis.
Comments
Add a comment on content to provide feedback, ask questions, and start conversations. When you comment on content, you automatically follow content and will be notified when new comments are added or the content is updated.
Non-Member Comments
Allow non-member comments (previously Allow anonymous comments) allows users who are not logged in to your intranet site to comment on content. They will have to provide a name and email address to comment, however they do not need an account.
Delete Comment
Delete comments on content.
Report Comment Abuse

RSS Feed
Communifire provides RSS feeds you can use in your favorite reader to stay up-to-date on new content. To get the RSS feed URL, right-click the feed icon on the content homepage, and copy the link. Enter the link in your RSS reader.
Ghostwrite Content
You can publish content on behalf of other users. Once you publish the content, the other user appears as the author and receives notifications about activity on the content. Supported content types: articles, blogs, videos, and wikis.
Deactivate Content
Deactivate content to hide it from public view. Supported content types: articles, blogs, CMS pages, ideas, videos, and wikis.
Featured Image Best Practices
Featured images appear on content, in the Activity Stream, on content homepages, and in content list widgets. This wiki recommendations for the featured image aspect ratio, dimensions, and file size.
Customize the Rich Editor Toolbar
Add buttons to the rich editor toolbar to provide additional text formatting options and to add quick links for commonly used features. Available options include font, font size, horizontal line, insert table of contents, and more.
Rich Editor Table of Contents Guide
Generate a table of contents based on the headings in your content. The table of contents will display the main headings in your content. People will be able to click links in the table of contents to jump right to a specific section in the content.
Rich Editor Templates Guide
You can create document templates to be used in the rich text editor. This allows your site administrator or space administrators to create HTML templates that users can select from a dropdown and insert into the editor textarea. If you create a lot of documents using a uniform layout, this saves you time and effort by creating a standard HTML layout for your template.

Unsplash integration unlocks a library of beautiful, free images for your use throughout your intranet. Search Unsplash for featured images and images for your content.
Translate User-Created Content
Communifire provides integration with the Google Cloud Translation API to dynamically translate user-created content on the fly. Using fast and dynamic machine translation, you can quickly view content in your own language with just the click of a button. No need for content creators to manually create and maintain multiple versions of the same content.
