Generate a table of contents based on the headings in your content. The table of contents will display the main headings in your content. People can quickly jump right to specific sections in the content using the table of contents.

How to Create a Table of Contents

1. When creating content, use the Formats menu in the rich editor toolbar to create headings in your content. The table of contents will display and link to headings 1, 2, and 3. Headings 4, 5, and 6 will not be included in the table of contents.
   
2. Next, place your cursor where you want the table of contents inserted.
3. In the toolbar, click Insert > Table of Contents.
   
4. The table of contents is inserted where your cursor is. 
   

How to Update the Table of Contents

After you add, remove, or edit headings in your content, click the table of contents so that the area is highlighted. Then click the refresh icon to update the table of contents.

How to Delete a Table of Contents

Click the table of contents so that the area is highlighted. Then, press backspace or delete.
