Allow non-member comments (previously Allow anonymous comments) allows users who are not logged in to your intranet site to comment on content. They will have to provide a name and email address to comment, however they do not need an account.
Adding a comment as a non-member:
Note: If your site is set to members only in Control Panel > System > General Settings > Site Settings > Allow access only to registered members, the Allow non-member comments option will not appear. This option only appears if people are allowed to access the site without an account.
