View report shows content statistics, sentiment analysis, and the content read report.
If you don't see the View Report link and you want to see the people that viewed this content, then click on the Views icon.
View report shows the following statistics:
The read report shows a list of people that viewed the content, those that confirmed that they read it, and those that haven't.
You can filter this list to see more options:
Is it possible to pull Content read history page into an excel spreadsheet or CSV file?
It's not possible to export the data to a CSV file. We have had demand for this recently, hopefully it will be in a future version of Communifire.
Hello, who can view the reports? Would you need to be an administrator or moderator of the space?
You can set which roles can View Report in Manage Space: Permissions , for each content type.
Hi. I'm a Site Admin level role in my intranet and I can't see the View Report link and clicking the "view" icon does nothing. Only one person (myself) has read the required document (a wiki page). Does that link show up later once more people than myself have read it? I just know my CEO is going to ask how he can see the report, but this isn't currently giving me an answer to how even I can.
Hi Caitlin, go to Manage Space > Permissions > Select your content type, select View Report for your role inside the space. To view your space role go to Manage Space > People > Set Role.
That worked. Thank you. I didn't realize if you weren't the original "site administrator" you had to assign yourself roles within spaces like that. I just assumed that global "site administrator" was a role that auto-enabled you to those permissions site-wide.
Glad to hear it worked. Space roles/permissions are independent of top-level roles/permissions. Check out our Manage People video guide for more information.
Our content stats is missing the filtering options and the download csv. Is there a way we can turn these on?
The filtering options and download CSV button are only available when the content is marked as required reading.
Thanks, Grace Kamau !
Can someone who didn't post the required reading see the content read report? I'm following the instructions and can only see who read the document, instead of those who confirmed.
Yes, you should be able to see the read confirmations. Is the content marked as required reading?
Yes - I am referring to a required reading blog that I did not post. When I select view report, only see a list of staff that have opened the blog like I would for something that isn't required.
Could you share the blog URL?
It looks like the content isn't currently marked as required reading. I see in the version history that it was updated once. When you edit content that is required reading, the required reading setting is off and must be set to on. Please edit the content, set the required reading setting to on, and save the content.
By marking it required reading after an update - will everyone be required to reconfirm and would another email go out?
Yes, that's correct.
