Activity emails are summaries of activity inside a space the user is a member of and is subscribed to. Users are set to receive the activity by default for each space. Communifire sends two activity emails, a Daily Digest Email that summarizes the past 24 hours of activity, and a Weekly Digest Email that summarizes the past 7 days of activity. Activity email send times can be configured for the site for both Daily and Weekly Digests.
Activity emails are most useful for people who are not able to log into their computer regularly for updates, either traveling employees or members of a public intranet. It is a way to make sure not to lose out on any activity in topics of interest without having to continuously log back into the intranet for updates.

Customize Activity Email Templates
By clicking Stop Activity Email, activity for this space will be excluded from daily and weekly digest emails. Note: This option doesn't stop email notifications from this space, such as notifications about wall posts, required reading, comments, etc.
To adjust activity email settings, go to Control Panel > System > System Properties.
The SendDigestsWithoutEmailNotifyEnabled system property specifies whether the daily digest and weekly digest emails are sent regardless of a user's email notifications preference in User Level Preferences . When SendDigestsWithoutEmailNotifyEnabled is true, the daily digest and weekly digest emails are sent to users even if they have email notifications disabled in Preferences. You can use this setting to ensure everyone receives the digest emails.

The inactive user email is sent to users who haven't engaged on your community after a certain number of weeks.

The new user engagement email is sent to new users who haven't engaged on your community after a certain number of days.
