Is it possible to include 'here's what is new since you last logged in' widget or code as part of the message?

Hey Teresa,

The InactiveUserEmailIncludeMissedContent system property will add a list of most popular content. Set it to true.

Could you define "inactive"? Does it refer to (a) users who have not logged in in InactiveUserEmailWeeks or (b) users who have logged in but not posted, liked, rated, commented, etc. in InactiveUserEmailWeeks?

Also, if a user is sent an Inactive User Email on day 1, will they be sent another one on day 2 if they have not done (a) or (b) above, or after another InactiveUserEmailWeeks has passed?

Hey Maxwell,

Users are considered inactive when there is no recent activity, including logging in. A user who has logged in but not engaged with content is considered active. You can see user activity in Control Panel > People > Manage People > View User Activity .

The inactive user email will not send again until the user becomes active again.

Regarding the "InactiveUserEmailFromUserID" system property, could you point me to information on how to set the sender's connected email? The property's description states that it sets which user's connected email account to use to send the inactive email, if not the default system account."

Hey Maxwell,

InactiveUserEmailFromUserID uses the email account connected to the user's personal calendar. Take a look at Connect Email to Calendar .

Does Communifire only list content in {{MISSED_CONTENT}} that a specific inactive user has permission to access?
