Office 365 Integrations

Sharepoint and OneDrive Integration

This new integration enables a two-way sync between Sharepoint/OneDrive and Communifire Files . Sharepoint and OneDrive integration has the following features:

• Add Office 365 accounts in Control Panel > System > Integrations and Manage Space: Integrations 
• Add Sharepoint and OneDrive drives to Files in Control Panel > System > External Drives and Manage Space: External Drives 
• Sync Sharepoint and OneDrive files in Files
• Upload and download Sharepoint and OneDrive files in Communifire
• Edit Sharepoint Office documents simultaneously

Outlook 365 Calendar Sync

• Added 2-way sync between Outlook and Communifire - Now you can create and edit events in one calendar, and the event or changes will appear in the other calendar 
• Added syncing for Outlook event location and Communifire Event Resources 

Office Document Editing

View, create, and edit Office documents in Communifire directly in your browser.

Use the Folder Actions menu to create new Office documents.

Recognition

The badges feature has been expanded into Control Panel: Recognition . Here's what's new:

• Added Recognition Programs : Set of badges that require users to meet certain criteria in order to earn or award the badges
• Added Recognition that provides an overview of recognition including recognition programs, recent recognition activity, leaderboard, challenges you can complete, and badges you can earn
• Added Recognition to the Create menu for awarding badges
• Added a recognize button to the user profile profile header
• Moved recognition-related pages to Page Builder and made them editable in Control Panel > People > Recognition > Recognition Pages 
• Updated My Apps and Tools > My Recognition and user profile > Recognition to include insights (recognition statistics), a challenges tab, and a direct reports tabs

Recognition Analytics 

• Community Recognition Analytics page produces visualizations for the following data:
  
  • Total Badges - Total badges earned
  • Kudos Received - Total badges received by users from other users
  • Challenges - Total challenges completed
  • Points - Total points earned
  • Active People - Total active users
• People Statistics page provides a recognition report for all users. You can see how many kudos badges users have sent and received, how many challenges they have completed, their department, and who their supervisor is. You can also see the last badges users have sent and received and the last challenges users have completed. The report can be downloaded as a CSV file.
• Activity Report page provides a list of recognition activity. The report can be filtered by demographics, recognition program, badge, badge type, and date. The report can be downloaded as a CSV file.

Analytics Enhancements

• Revamped the Audience Overview 
• Added Top Content and Manage Space: Top Content that provides a list of top viewed, commented, liked, and rated content
• Added Content Statistics and Manage Space: Content Statistics that provides a visualization of content engagement data
• Added Content Type Distribution and Manage Space: Content Type Distribution that provides a visualization of the number of publications of all the content types (articles, blogs, etc.) for the specified date period

Ghostwriting

We added a Ghostwrite Content feature which allows users to create content on behalf of other users.

Page Builder Enhancements

• Added an Activity Stream option to the Activity Widget
• Added an import/export Page Builder pages feature
• Added Page Builder pages to search
• Added ability to create a re-usable space page template (On the create/edit Page Builder Page - "Available to use as template" and "Master Template Page" options)
• Manage Space: Page Builder section added for creating and managing Page Builder pages for spaces
• Clone Page Builder Template Page Builder Template feature added

App Enhancements

• Added file preview for mp3, mp4, doc, docx, pptx, and xlsx file types
• Design changes for content pages, add content pages, and the login page
• Added audio player for audio files
• Added @mention functionality for content and wall posts
• Added image uploader to the editor
• Added ability to upload files and photos in space wall posts
