Top Content | Communifire Documentation

Top content analytics provides a list of top viewed, commented, liked, and rated content in your intranet. Top content analytics can be downloaded as a CSV file.

To view top content, click the gear icon > Analytics > Top Content.

Filter the analytics by space, content type, action type, number of records, or date range.

Click Download CSV to download the report as a CSV file.

Opening the CSV file in Excel

1. Open a blank workbook in Excel.
2. Windows:
   1. Click Data > From Text/CSV.
   2. Select the CSV file.
   3. Select Comma as the Delimiter.
   4. Click Load.
3. Mac:
   1. Click Data > Get External Data > From Text.
   2. Select the CSV file.
   3. Select Delimited.
   4. Click Next.
   5. Check Comma.
   6. Uncheck other delimiters.
   7. Click Next.
   8. Click Finish.
   9. Click OK.

Data Columns:

1. Title
2. Date created
3. Content Type
4. Space Name
5. Parent content (if applicable)
6. Author
7. User ID (of the author)
8. Child records
9. Views 
10. Viewer (unique viewers)
11. Likes (if enabled)
12. Comments (if enabled)
13. Tags

Refresh Top Content

Top content is updated once a day. To refresh top content on demand, go to Control Panel > System > Advanced System Utilities and click Rebuild Activity Log Index. We recommend rebuilding the activity feed during non-business hours.

Customize the Top Content List

You can customize the top content list in Control Panel > System > Page Builder Widget Templates . Edit the Top Content Template and Top Content AllTime Template .
