Your notifications provide you with real-time alerts about activity and updates that are important to you. Notifications give you quick access to everything important to you, so you can take action the moment it's needed. Never miss an important update again.
Notifications are real-time; if desired you can also receive Daily Digests and Weekly Digests.
You can receive notifications in three channels:
You can view your notifications in page format by going to My Activity Stream > Notifications.
You can track your notifications using the exclamation mark icon in the header at the top of your screen. When a new notification comes in, you are alerted in two ways.
No matter what page you are on or what you are doing in Communifire, your Notifications feed provides real-time updates about news and information that is important to you.
When you are ready to view and interact with your notifications, click the exclamation mark icon to view a drop-down list of recent updates. You can then select a given notification to see it in more detail, or click View All at the top or bottom of the list to leave the page you are on and open the Notifications page in your full window.
Email notifications can be sent to the email address associated with your profile. Typically, email notifications follow the formatting below:
The Communifire Apple and Google Apps send push notifications for all notifications and chat messages you receive when you're offline. Communifire notifications appear on your device's lock screen and in the notification bar.
Axero offers Slack & Teams integrations to push notifications about a specific piece of content to your users.

NOTE:
You are able to receive notifications for many activities, including when new content is added, when workflow items are assigned to you, or when someone tags you in a message.
Below is the full set of notifications that are available:
Users can be given the ability to customize the type of notifications they receive if the Notifications widget has been added. This is not a default setting, and site administrators can add enable this by:
1. Going to Control Panel> System Properties> Enable EnableNotificationPreferences property.
2. Adding the Notifications widget to the default User Preferences page. Please see the Edit User Preferences Page for documentation on how to add the built-in widgets.
If enabled, users can change their preferences as outlined in the User Level Permissions documentation.

Axero has numerous channels to notify users about the content activity. Send Slack notifications, automated emails, wall posts, or intranet alerts. You can set up these by reading the Notification for Content document.
Admin Generate a notification for everyone in your intranet by checking Send Notifications when creating a new Dynamic Property in Control Panel > System > Dynamic Properties > Add Dynamic Property.
NOTES:
1. Type the message you want your recipients to receive as a notification. This is the message that will appear as a push notification in the community platform and the bell notification.
2. Click Submit. Your recipients will receive your notification.
1. Write subject and body of email. You can use {{{Title}}}, {{{Summary}}} and {{ContentURL}} tokens in your email body to include details about the content.
Notify members in various spaces via Wall Posts to spread the word about the your content. The wall post will automatically have a link and summary for the content below the message you write. Click submit to post the message.
NOTE: This may trigger an email depending on the space settings.
