Your Notifications feed provides you with real time alerts about updates and activity that is important to you. You can view your notifications in page format by going to My Activity Stream > Notifications.
You can track your notifications using the exclamation mark icon in the header at the top of your screen. When a new notification comes in, you are alerted in two ways.
No matter what page you are on or what you are doing in Communifire, your Notifications feed provides real-time updates about news and information that is important to you.
When you are ready to view and interact with your notifications, click the exclamation mark icon to view a drop-down list of recent updates. You can then select a given notification to see it in more detail, or click View All at the top or bottom of the list to leave the page you are on and open the Notifications page in your full window.
You receive notifications for the following:
Generate a notification for everyone in your intranet by checking Send Notifications when creating a new Dynamic Property in Control Panel > System > Dynamic Properties > Add Dynamic Property.
The Communifire Apple and Google Apps send push notifications for all notifications and Chat & Instant Messenger you receive.
Communifire notifications appear on your device's lock screen and notification bar.
is there a way to have notifications trigger an email that brings people back to the sight?
Hey Teresa,
The Inactive User Email sends an email to users who haven't been active after a certain amount of time.
Grace
I cannot seem to locate where to set user defaults for email notifications. is there just one setting - on / off? please advise - thanks so much!
Email notifications can only be turned on or off. Users can unsubscribe from forums and from discussion posts created by other users.
