Your notifications provide you with real-time alerts about activity and updates that are important to you. Notifications give you quick access to everything important to you, so you can take action the moment it's needed. Never miss an important update again.
You can view your notifications in page format by going to My Activity Stream > Notifications.
You can track your notifications using the exclamation mark icon in the header at the top of your screen. When a new notification comes in, you are alerted in two ways.
No matter what page you are on or what you are doing in Communifire, your Notifications feed provides real-time updates about news and information that is important to you.
When you are ready to view and interact with your notifications, click the exclamation mark icon to view a drop-down list of recent updates. You can then select a given notification to see it in more detail, or click View All at the top or bottom of the list to leave the page you are on and open the Notifications page in your full window.

The Inactive User Email sends an email to users who haven't been active after a certain amount of time.

Email notifications can only be turned on or off. Users can unsubscribe from forums and from discussion posts created by other users.
Is there a way to turn off notifications on for cases?
You can turn off email notifications for cases by turning off case-related emails in Control Panel > System > Email Templates. Search for emails with "issue" in the name, edit the email, and uncheck the Active box.
You can reduce in-platform notifications for cases by assigning the case to a specific user or restricting who can be assigned cases. Please refer to the Case Notifications section on the Cases page for who gets notifications for cases.
