System Properties are advanced settings that allow a number of fine grained configuration options that are not available through the Control Panel or user interface. Be cautious when changing these settings as they can affect system stability if not properly configured.

Name Description
ActiveDirectoryAuthEnabled Enable Active Directory settings. Default value is false.
ActiveDirectorySyncManagerInterval The interval (in minutes) when the AD sync background service will run. Default is 120 minutes (2 hours).
ActivityLogIndexSyncTime Sets the time of the day when the ActivityLog syncing to index process starts (24-hour time).
AdminScripts Add a script to be run on pages where admin roles are allowed, such as Control Panel. Useful feature for walk through step software such as WalkMe.
NOTE: Be sure to include <script></script> wrapper tags.
ADSyncEnabled Whether user information is synced from Active Directory (true) or not (false).
ADSyncProfilePicture Whether the profile picture is synced from Active Directory (true) or not (false).
AllowChatMessageEditDelete Sets whether users can edit and delete their own messages in chat
AllowedEmails In some cases, you would want the community to send only a certain type of emails. Use this setting to specify what type of emails community sends. "" : All emails (default empty value), "1": Only workflow related emails.
AllowedFileTypesToBeUploaded Listed file types are allowed in Communifire to be uploaded.
AllowedIndexableFileFormats Collection of file formats which are allowed to be indexed
AllowedVideoFileTypesToBeUploaded Listed file types are allowed in Communifire to be uploaded in videos section.
AllowEnterKeyAsSubmit Allow the enter key to be used to submit the message in chat. Default value is true.
AllowGuestsSearchByTag Whether guests (not logged in) can use the Tag filter on the search page. This will expose yor tags list to the Internet.
AllowSkypeCallInChat true if Skype call is allowed in chat; otherwise, false.
AllowUsersEditPersonalCalendarEmailServer If true users can update the email server settings associated with their personal calendar. If false then they can only edit their username and password for the email server. Be sure to set the default server values if this property is set to false.
AndroidAppPackage Android package name of the Communifire Android app.
AndroidAppServerKey Android application server key to enable Push notifications in Android.
ArchivalJobManagerInterval The interval (in minutes) when the content archival background service will run. Default is 1200 minutes (20 hours / once a day).
ArchivalJobTime Sets the time of the day when the archival process (ActivityFeed, ActivityLog) starts (24-hour time).
aspnet:UseTaskFriendlySynchronizationContext Set to true (default value) to enable WebSockets support (it will only work with IIS8 & Windows 2012 and above).
Authorize.Net.API.LoginID Authorize.Net Payment Gateway LoginID.

AutoJoinParentSpaces Set this to true (default) if you want a member joining a child space to automatically become a member of all its parent spaces.

BoxIntegrationIndexFileSizeLimit Indicates the file size limit (in bytes) for indexing the file's content for search. If the file's size is larger than the value set, the file's content with not be indexed. The file name and description will still show up in search results but not its content.
BrowserUserAgentCSV CSV list of browser user agents which can by-pass private pages (pages locked behind login) so that user-agents can access them without getting re-directed to login page. Use pipeline "|" as separator.
BypassLoginPageListCSV CSV list of page names which will be bypassed for authentication when checking for logged-in (member only) access.
CalendarDefaultView Sets the default view for calendars: day, week, month or list
CalendarFirstDayOfWeek Sets the first day of the week for calendars: 0 for Sunday, 1 for Monday, etc
CalendarReminderManagerInterval The interval (in minutes) when the calendar reminder background service will run. Default is 1 minute.
CanResubmitAfterDecline Sets whether users can resubmit content for consideration after workflow decline, by updating the content
CasesReplyToSubjectPlaceholder The placeholder is to be used in the subject of the emails while sending/parsing case related emails. Replace #CASEID# with the case ID in code. You can edit everything here except: [-#CASEID#]
CasesSendLimitedEmails Set to 1 to limit email confirmations sent to the case author, or to others on new case creation. This value can control the amount of email sent while creating/updating cases. Default value is 0.
ChatAvailabilityCookieName Used by the chat module.
ChatAvailabilityCookieTimeOutInDays Used by the chat module.
ChatDingEnabled Sets whether the browser will make a "ding" when a user receives a new message
ChatDingInMainSite Sets whether new messages coming for a user will sound a ding in the main site, otherwise with ding enabled it will only sound on chat window

CleanupTime Sets the time of the day when the clean up process of temp files starts (24-hour time).
ClientTimeZoneOffsetCookieName Used to set the user timezone. Do not modify it.
CMSPagesTreeSortBy The order in which the CMS pages tree will appear. Default value is 1. Valid values: 1 = DateCreated, 10 = ContentTitle
CodeHighlightLanguages A list of languages to be included in the Rich Text editor code highlight dropdown. Separate each language with | and provide the display text and the highlight.js value separated by : for each language.
CollapsePBSectionWidgets Sets whether Section Widgets will be collapsed in the editor by default, or expanded.
ContactRequest.All.RoleIDs RoleIDs separated by comma ','. Users having these roles will receieve all the contact request notifications. If this property is left empty then all the moderators and SiteAdminstrators will receive all the contact request notifications.
ContactRequest.Bugs.EmailID Set this value to an email ID which will receive bug reports.
ContactRequest.Feedback.EmailID Set this value to an email ID which will receive feedback type requests.
ContactRequest.GeneralInformation.EmailID Set this value to an email ID which will receive general information type requests.
ContactRequest.Other.EmailID Set this value to an email ID which will receive other reports.
ContactRequest.ViolationsAbuse.EmailID Set this value to an email ID which will receive violation reports.
ContentStatsUpdateIndexEnabled Represents whether the content stats should be updated or not every night in the Elastic Search index.
ContentStatsUpdateIndexTime Sets the time of the day when the content stats update index process starts (24-hour time).
ContentSyncManagerIntervalInMinutes The interval (in minutes) when the content sync check background service (for Store) will run. Default is 10 minute.
CorsAllowedDomainsCSV Comma separated list of domains that are allowed to access the resource.

cybs.connectionLimit Please refer to the Connection Limit section in the README for details on this setting and alternate ways to set the connection limit. When not specified or is set to -1, the client will implicitly use the connection limit currently in force, which would be 2 if none of the alternate methods are used.

ElasticSearchIndexBatchRequestCount The number of items to be sent in one go in index while using bulk api of ElasticSearch.
ElasticSearchIndexContentBodyLength The length of characters which can be stored in index for the ContentBody field. Default is 0 characters i.e content body will not be stored in index by default. Please note that this setting is just to store content body, search will still work on content body even if this field is set to 0 characters.
ElasticsearchReplicas Number of Elasticsearch replicas. Default is 0.
ElasticsearchServer URL of server used by the Elasticsearch engine, for example http://localhost:9200.
ElasticsearchShards Number of Elasticsearch shards. Default is 1.
ElasticSearchStoreExternalFileContent Set this to true if you want the content of external files (SharePoint, DropBox etc.) to be indexed else false.

EmailResponderPingInterval The interval (in minutes) when the email responder job will run (to access POP/IMAP servers and fetch emails). Default is 1 minute.

EnableAutoLoginViaSaml Sets whether login is automatically tuned to SAML exclusively or if also allows for Communifire credentials

EnableCasesTaskIntegration It enables task creation from Case detail page if set as true.
EnableDailyDigestEmails If set to 1 (default), then users will get a daily email with a summary of activities within all spaces that user is a member of.
EnabledNewUserEnagementEmail Sets whether email goes out to new users who haven't engaged on the site after n days
EnableElasticsearch Turn on Elasticsearch (default is "true"). Make sure Lucene is turned off in this is turned on.
EnableFileSync Set to true (default) if file sync functionality is enabled.
EnableInactiveUserEmails Sets whether the system will send out inactive user emails or not
EnableLiveActivityUpdates Makes the activity ticker and new content stream widgets update with new wall posts (or content) as it comes in without the need for a page refresh. 
EnableNavigationWidgetTemplateOverrides Navigation widget templates have child templates defined for each template. Set this property to true to allow people to change the child templates for individual widgets.
EnablePageBuilderPageImportExport If true then the page builder pages will be allowed to export and import.
EnableRTLDetection If true then the RTL language will be detected and will be displayed in RTL direction.
EnableSAMLIntegration Enable or disable SAML integration.
EnableSecurityProtocolTLS11OrHigher When this setting is true TLS 1.1 or higher will be enabled. If you are using Salesforce Login then set this setting to true. TLS stands for "Transport Layer Security." It is a protocol that provides privacy and data integrity between two communicating applications. It's the most widely deployed security protocol used today, and is used for web browsers and other applications that require data to be securely exchanged over a network. TLS ensures that a connection to a remote endpoint is the intended endpoint through encryption and endpoint identity verification.
EnableWeeklyDigestEmails Sets whether the system will send out a weekly digest email or not
EntityAttachmentInterval The interval (in minutes) when the entity attachment background service will run. Default is 60 minutes.
EntityUpdateStatusInterval The interval (in minutes) when the entity status update background service will run. Default is 5 minutes.
EventReminderIntervalInMinutesCSV The default CSV list of intervals (in minutes) when the event reminders will be set when a new event is created. Default is 30,10.
ExcludedDomainsFromEmailParsing Email domains (comma separated) that should be excluded from parsing for cases or forums.
ExternalVideosEnabled Indicates if external videos (like YouTube etc) can be posted allowed in videos section.
FailedAttemptLogInterval Interval in minutes after which the failed attempt logs will be re-attempted. For example: After each 60 minutes the attempts of all the items which got failed while indexing will be re-attempted to send them in index.
FileExtsToBeParsedAsCode Used by the file module to render these file extensions in a code highlighter.
FileExtsToBeParsedAsText Used by the file module to render these file extensions as plain text.
FormsAuthNonPersistentCookieTimeOutInMinutes Time (in minutes) when forms authentication cookie expires. Sets expiration for cookie created when the user did not check Remember Me while logging in.
FormsAuthPersistentCookieTimeOutInMinutes Time (in minutes) when forms authentication persistent/permanent cookie expires. Sets expiration for cookie created when the user checked Remember Me while logging in.
FriendsAutomatic Sets up automatic friend relationships for all new users. To connect all existing users you will have to run the page your.communifire.com/allfriends.aspx
FriendsEnabled Sets whether the friends interface is visible to users or not. If disabled you should decide if everyone will be friends or no one, setting the FriendsAutomatic property
GhostwritingEnabled Whether the Ghostwriting functionality is enabled or not.

GoogleApiClientSecret Application/client secret associated with your application.
HeadersToBeRemovedFromResponse CSV of the headers which need to be removed from the response from every request from the web server.

IncludeSubSpacesInSpaceSearchResults Sets whether subspaces are included when searching by a single space. Setting this value to true will increase search results and time required to perform searches.
IncludeViewAllSpacesInTasks Whether the View all option is provided in the space dropdown list for personal tasks. This option is discouraged with lots of tasks as loading them all at once could make the list unmanageable.
IndexBasedActivityStream Sets whether the Activity Stream is pulled from the system's cached index of content or from the database table of activities
IndexContentAttachment Enables/disables indexing the content's attachments.
IndexUpcomingEventsDaysForward For repeating events, the number of days in advance repeated instances of an event are added to the index for use in Page Builder upcoming events lists.
InitialSyncDurationOfEventsInNumberOfMonths Initial sync duration of events in number of months. Default is 24 i.e initially all the events from current date upto 2 years will be imported from Outlook.

InternvalDaysRecurringEventIndexUpdate Frequency (in days) which new instances of repeated events are added to the index for use in Page Builder upcoming events lists

IsMultipleSiteEnabled Indicates whether the community can be accessed via multiple site urls, for example intranet and extranet urls might be different for the same community.
IsRedisEnabled Specifies whether REDIS is enabled for distributed caching or not.
IsSideBarContentEnabled Set this to true if the "side bar" and "extra side bar" content needs to be enabled in add/edit content form.
IsSignalRClientConnectionLoggingEnabled If this setting is true then Signalr will enable the logging for JS.
KibanaURL Public URL to access Kibana. Example: https://:5601
LogSignalRExceptions Log SignalR exceptions, default value is false
LogUserCreateActivityInNewsFeed Logs the user create activity in news feed. Default value is true.
LuceneIndexDirectory Represents the lucene index directory path
LuceneSpecialCharFilter StandardAnalyzer will get rid of all special characters. This means that c, c++, and c# will all be represented precisely the same in the index, there is no way to search for one without matching the other two. Replace these with something little more lucene-friendly, like "c", "cplusplus" and "csharp". Add the original and replacement here as a key-value pair CSV.
MakePermanentCookieForThirdPartyLogin Set to true (default) if permanent cookie is to be created for third party login (Google, FB and Twitter etc), otherwise false. Cookie expiration set by value found in FormsAuthPersistentCookieTimeOutInMinutes system property.
ManualTimeZoneForRegister Set to true if the time zone dropdown is needed at registration page otherwise false (default).
MaxContentStubLength The maximum character length for content stubs used in URLs (includes albums, forums and forum groups).
MaxContentTitleLength The maximum character length for title inputs (does not apply to content added through API).
MaxInvalidLoginAttempts Maximum number of login attempts with invalid credentials before the account is locked out.
MenuFontColor Choose either "dark" or "light" gray color for the font used in the header depending on the background color, also available on the Branding page. Use CSS overrides for more control.
MessageImageWidthInPixels Default width of the uploaded chat message image (in pixels).
MicroServiceBaseUrl The external service url to convert files into pdf format, export page to pdf, index file content. Example: http://microservices.com/
