Your user profile provides an overview of your personal information. Your profile displays your profile photo, name, job title, department, work and contact information, and more. The user profile also includes links to your personal Activity Stream, your relationships, your recognition, your Spaces , and your content.

The org chart button on user profiles opens the Organizational Chart with that person as the center.

How to Add a Direct Reports Widget to User Profiles

Add a Direct reports widget to the user profile that lists the user's direct reports.

1. Go to Control Panel > People > User Profiles.
2. For the User Profile page, click the gear icon > Edit Page.
3. Click Widgets.
4. Click Built in Widgets.
5. Drag a People widget onto the page.
6. On the People widget, click the gear icon > Edit Properties.
7. Update the widget Title. (e.g. Direct reports)
8. Set the Widget Type to People List.
9. Check Direct reports.
10. Click Template.
11. Select the Users List with Title-Departments template.
12. Click Save Widget.
13. Click Publish changes.
14. Click Go to page.

1. Go to Control Panel > People > User Profiles.
2. For the User Profile page, click the gear icon > Edit Page.
3. Click Widgets.

How to Hide the Menu on User Profiles

Admin You can hide the side menu in user profiles to create a more streamlined look. Go to Control Panel > System > System Properties and set ProfilePageHideNavigationMenu to true.

How to Change Profile Field Visibility

By default, profile fields are visible to everyone in the intranet. Site admins can make certain profile fields visible to certain roles only - such as making sensitive data visible to only Human Resources employees. You can configure settings to allow people to set the visibility of their profile fields for themselves, allowing finer control over who can see what.
