Your user profile provides an overview of your personal information. Your profile displays your profile photo, name, job title, department, work and contact information, and more. The user profile also includes links to your personal Activity Stream, your relationships, your recognition, your spaces, and your content.

Customize user profiles in your intranet with your own profile fields. You can select from a variety of profile field types and configure them to your desire. Make profile fields required or optional, set default values, allow only specific roles to view certain profile fields, and more.

How to Edit the User Profile Page

1. Click the gear icon > Control Panel > People > User Profiles.
2. For the User Profile page, click the gear icon > Edit Page.
3. Make changes to the page.
   • Note: To expand a profile section, click the gear icon > Expand.

4. To add a profile field to user profiles:
   
   1. On a section, click the gear icon > Expand.
   2. Click Widgets.
   3. Click Fields.
   4. Drag a field onto the page, in the section.
   5. On the field, click the gear icon > Edit properties.
   6. Configure the field properties.
   7. Click Save Widget.
5. Click Publish changes.
6. Click Go to page.

Alternative Way

1. From the homepage, click your profile photo in the header.
2. Hover over the black element on the far right of the page.
3. Click the edit icon > Edit Page.
4. Click Edit Page.

How to Hide the User Profile Menu

Admin You can hide the side menu in user profiles to create a more streamlined look. Go to Control Panel > System > System Properties and set ProfilePageHideNavigationMenu to true.

Edit User Profiles for the Mobile App

1. Click the gear icon > Control Panel > People > User Profiles.
2. For the User Profile page, click the gear icon > Edit Page.
3. Click Mobile layout.
4. Make changes to the page.
   • Note: To expand a profile section, click the gear icon > Expand.
5. Click Publish changes.
