Let your users know about important activity in your intranet by sending emails directly from Communifire. Automate confirmation emails, broadcast messages, event notifications, daily digests, weekly digests, and much more—all with fully customizable templates so your emails look and read how you want.

You can modify the verbiage and look of each template by clicking the Edit icon for your desired template.

Do not delete or rename default system email templates as this could result in system instability.

To manage email templates, go to Control Panel > System > Email Templates.

Data in Email Templates

Communifire uses mnemonics in emails templates. These mnemonics are replaced by the actual data value. For example, the mnemonic {{USER_NAME}} is replaced by the user's username in the actual email. See Email Template Mnemonics  for a list of mnemonics for each email template.

Example Emails

Example 1: Send a Company Email

Spread the word about company news to your users with a company announcement email. Notify your entire intranet community or target specific groups in your intranet. Make sure no one misses a beat with a beautiful email template that commands attention.

Example 2: Send a Broadcast

Send broadcast emails to specific groups in your intranet that you create with the Persona tool. With an eye-catching template, you add one more layer of communication so your members have eyes on content you want them to see.

Communifire.Abuse.Notification This notification email gets sent whenever a member flags content as abuse or spam.

Communifire.ContactRequest.Notification This notification email gets sent whenever a new contact request is created via the contact us form.

Communifire.Event.CancelNotification This event email notification is sent to notify invitees of an event that it has been canceled.
Communifire.Event.ChangeTime.Notification This event email notification is sent to notify an event attendee that the time has changed.
Communifire.Event.ChangeTime.Poster This event email notification is sent to the poster with an updated ICS file.
Communifire.Event.ExternalInvite.Notification This event email notification is sent to notify an external user (whose only emailID is known) that they has been invited to attend an event.
Communifire.Event.InvitationReply.Notification This event email notification is sent to notify the organizer the invitation response from invitee.
Communifire.Event.InvitationReplyExternal.Notification This event notification is sent to notify the external inviter of an event when an internal user RSVPs.

Communifire.Event.NoNewParticipants Email sent when someone who was not invited RSVPs by email to an event that has invite others disabled.

Communifire.Event.Online.ExternalInvite.Notification This event email notification is sent to notify an external user(whose only emailID is known) that he/she has been invited to attend an event.

Communifire.Event.Online.SpaceAttendees.Notification This Email Template is used to send email notification to user notifying them that they have been added as an Attendee for a particular event.

Communifire.User.Verification This is the email that a user is sent immediately after they sign up. This email contains a hyperlink that the user must click on that will verify that their email address is legitimate.

Communifire.Video.NewComment.Notification When someone posts a comment on a video submitted by the user.

You can add an image, such as your company logo, in email templates.

 

Images in the digest emails may appear large in Outlook. You can restrict the image sizes.
