Root/Activity Stream Folder

The Activity Stream folder comes handy to quickly access all the files added in activity stream by users within a space at one place. Users have access to this common folder under the Files section. 

If needed, Communifire provides the ability to hide this folder from users with different roles within a space. 

Remove access for Activity Stream folder 

The below steps in this documentation show how to hide the folder from Members role in a space. You can choose the roles you want to hide this folder from as per your use case.

NOTE Only Space Administrators have the ability to make the below changes.

• If you are a Space Administrator, click Manage Space
  
  
  
• Click Permissions in the left pane
  
  
• Click on the dropdown menu and navigate to File 
  
  
• Select Directory - Root/Activity Stream Files
  
  
• Uncheck permission for Member role under View All Directory, and Save Changes
  
  

Activity Streams Files folder will now be hidden for member roles in a space.
