You can edit Microsoft Office files in Office Online. Users can work on the same document at the same time. If a file is checked out, only the user who checked it out can edit the file in Office Online. To allow simultaneous editing, don't check out the file before editing. Supported file types: .docx, .xslx, .pptx.
Note: An Office 365 account is required to create and edit Office documents.
When users edit an Office file, changes are saved as a draft and the file is not published as a new version in Communifire. Changes are saved to Communifire as a new version of the file when:
Changes are not saved to Communifire if at least one user has the file open and the edit session hasn't expired.
Important A site administrator should set the WOPIAccessTokenExpiryInMinutes system property to avoid losing changes. This setting controls how long an Office file can remain open in an editing window before the session expires. The time is in minutes and should be set to 30 or greater.
Ten minutes before the session expires, the user is prompted to save changes and refresh the page.
There is a known issue with Safari 14 where editing in Office Online leads to a redirect loop. To fix this issue, enable third-party cookies and cross-site tracking in Safari:

There appears to be a bug with creating and editing Office files currently. Our development team is working on it. We'll let you know when a fix is available.

I am experience an issue as well but since I just got our integration set up today, I dont know if the issue is related. I get this error
