Tag Cloud Widget

The tag cloud widget displays popular tags. You can generate a tag cloud from your entire intranet or from specific spaces.

Properties

Property Description
Title The widget title appears at the top of the widget
Total items Max number of tags to display
Tag name char length The number of characters in the tag to display before appending "..."
Sort by
  • Count
  • Tag Name
Sort order:
  • Ascending
  • Descending
Use to filter the content on the current page Check to use the tag cloud as a filter on the People Directory page. Note: This setting is only available for a tag cloud widget on the Edit People Directory Page .
Content types The content types to generate the tag cloud from
Spaces The spaces to generate the tag cloud from
Keyword The search keyword to filter the tag cloud by
Exclude Tag Groups The tag groups to exclude from the tag cloud

Tag Cloud Template 

The Tag Cloud template displays a list of tags used throughout your intranet.

Advanced

Field Description
Icon Select an icon to display with the widget (Requires a template that uses {{IconCSSClass}})
Keyword Text to filter tags by
Custom CSS class A CSS class to append to the widget
Show Header Check to show the widget's header, which includes the title
Show Footer Check to show the widget's footer
Hide Container Border Check to hide the widget's border

Edit Existing Tags 

Users can create new tags by typing keywords in the "Add tags" field when creating content. Misspelled or ambiguous tags can cause confusion. You can edit existing tags to fix spelling mistakes or rename a tag.

Delete Existing Tags 

Users can create new tags by typing keywords in the "Add tags" field when creating content. Poorly named or ambiguous tags can cause confusion and clutter content. You can delete existing tags to permanently remove them from your site.
