Manage Space: Turn on Forum Workflow | Communifire Documentation

Forum workflow is managed on an individual basis. Each forum can have workflow enabled or disabled, and can use different workflow. Forum replies can also be moderated.

Step 1: Turn on Forum Workflow in a Space

1. From the space, click Manage Space > Workflow > Workflow Settings.
2. Enable workflow:
   • Forum Workflow: Moderation for new discussions. When enabled, you can turn workflow on and off for individual forums in the space.
   • Forum Reply Workflow: Moderation for discussion replies. When forum reply workflow is enabled and an individual forum has workflow enabled, discussion replies are moderated.
3. Click Update Workflow Settings.

Step 2: Turn on Workflow for an Individual Forum

Turn on forum workflow for a forum to moderate new discussions in that forum. If Forum Reply Workflow is also enabled in the space, discussion replies in the forum will also be moderated.

1. In Manage Space, click Discussions.
2. For the forum, click the edit icon.
3. Set Workflow Enabled to Yes.
4. Select the workflow.
5. Click Update.
