Milestones are groupings of related cases. You can add several milestones to the same project and give them due dates to keep on track. For example, the project Annual Conference can have the milestones Conference Planning and Conference Workshop. Each milestone groups related cases, and ultimately, the cases are under the same project.
As cases in a milestone are closed, the milestone's percentage increases toward 100%. The % complete is based on the amount of cases that are opened or closed, you can't override this.
When all the cases in a milestone are closed and the milestone is complete, you can close the milestone and continue working on the remaining ones in the project.
You can add existing cases to a milestone or move them to another milestone through the action Set Milestone.
