Download CSV File of Users | Communifire Documentation

Download a CSV file of users and user data from the Control Panel. The CSV file includes all user profile fields and preferences. The CSV file only includes active users - banned, deactivated, and pending users are not included in the CSV file.

1. Click the gear icon > Control Panel > People > Manage People.
2. Click Options > Download CSV.
3. Save the file.

Note: You can use the CSV file in Bulk Import Users to make changes to users' profile data (such as first name, last name, address, etc). The CSV file includes columns that are not profile fields (such as Joined, Last Login, etc). To avoid errors, remove non-profile and unneeded columns before using the CSV file in Bulk Import.

Opening the CSV file in Excel

If you're on an older version of Communifire, you may need to manually import the CSV file.

1. Open a blank workbook in Excel.
2. Windows:
   1. Click Data > From Text/CSV.
   2. Select the CSV file.
   3. Select Comma as the Delimiter.
   4. Click Load.
3. Mac:
   1. Click Data > Get External Data > From Text.
   2. Select the CSV file.
   3. Select Delimited.
   4. Click Next.
   5. Check Comma.
   6. Uncheck other delimiters.
   7. Click Next.
   8. Click Finish.
   9. Click OK.
