Find public Spaces to join in your intranet and see spaces you are a member of on the Browse > Spaces page. The list of spaces displays top level spaces you can join. Sub spaces are not included. On the right, My Spaces lists all the spaces you are a member of, including sub spaces.
If membership in the space is moderated, your request to join will need to be approved by a moderator. Otherwise, you will be added to the space immediately.
Is there a way to bundle spaces together?
As a community, we are likely to shortly hit a very large number of space so it'd be useful to group spaces in different categories (e.g. Live projects, Business Development, People, etc)
You can have a parent space "Business Development", then have it's relevant spaces be subspaces.
Another option is to create a Page Builder and use the Content List or Space List to list categories of spaces.
It is not possible to bundle spaces on the Browse > Spaces page.
If we do create a Page Builder page, how do we direct the Browse > Spaces menu item to the Page Builder page instead of the current one?
Hi Ian,When you are on the pagebuilder page, you should see a checkbox that says "Set as Homepage". Click this to set the spaces homepage to the new pagebuilder page you have created.
I hope that helps,Foster
Thanks Foster but I'm looking at how to change where the Menu Item 'Browse > Spaces' in the top bar points to. Anonymous User suggesting that if we want to modify how people view a full set of spaces that we create a page builder page. So I'm looking for how to make that the page that people come to.
Sorry for the misunderstanding. You can use a URL Mapper to route the url of the browse spaces (usually something like https://yourdomain.com/spaces) to the url of your pagebuilder page. Once you do this, clicking the spaces button will bring them directly to the new url you provide.
I hope that helps more,Foster
