The calendar helps you organize and keep track of events and personal activities. Track event RSVPs and stay on top of all your important activities. Features such as comments, event resources, and calendar sharing make event planning and coordination even easier.
In My Calendar, you can view your events and create events, as well as view calendars other users have shared with you.
Use the mini calendar to jump to a specific date quickly. Use the Today button to jump back to the current day. Use the arrows to navigate to the previous and next day/week/month. Use the Day, Week, Month, and List buttons to switch between views.

Events have a start and end date and time, and can repeat or take place all day. Events have a description, type, and location. You can send invitations to an event when you create it.
You can set the default view of the calendar to be displayed in day, week, month, or list view. Navigate to Control Panel > System > System Properties and update the CalendarDefaultView system property to apply this preference.
You can define the first day of the week for all calendars using the CalendarFirstDayOfWeek system property. Set this property to 0 for Sunday, 1 for Monday, and continue incrementing for each day of the week to match your preferred weekly start day.

You can set the interval for the calendar reminder background service using the CalendarReminderManagerInterval system property. This property defines how frequently (in minutes) the reminder service will run. The default interval is 1 minute, but you can adjust this based on your notification preferences.
