Internal case comments can be used to have discussions about a case without involving the case author. For example, let's say you're using cases for support. Regular users submit cases and people in the support department handle the cases. The support team can use internal case comments to communicate with one another without the regular user seeing the conversation. The internal comments would be visible to only people on the support team. Internal comments are case comments that are visible to some people and not others.
