You can take control of your privacy settings and visibility options for a widget in a Page Builder page. By configuring the widget visibility, you can choose who can see the widget based on different roles and permissions. This allows you to customize the visibility of the widget according to your needs and preferences.
Unrestricted
This allows the widget to be visible to all users, regardless of their roles or permissions within the system. This is the default option for all widgets. It ensures that no restrictions or limitations are imposed on who can view and interact with the widget, making it available for everyone.
Roles
Choose which roles have access to view this widget. This is useful if you want to control access based on site role, for example if you want to limit sensitive information to a Site Administrator role only, or if some content would be of interest to only a certain group of people. When the page is assigned to the "Top level community" the roles displayed will be site-wide roles. If a Space is selected then its Roles will be displayed.
When editing the User Profile page, you have access to two unique widget visibility options: "Own profile only" and "Direct reports profile".
Own profile only
The Roles tab has additional options when editing a field widget on the Edit Profile page. You can choose which roles have permission to edit the field. This can be helpful if you want the person to be able to view the value stored in the field but don't want them to be able to change it (perhaps the data is managed in another system). If a person has access to view a field widget but not edit it then it will show as disabled.
