Axero's US team will be attending its annual summit from October 7 to October 10, 2024. During this time, we will continue to provide support through private cases, though there may be a slight delay in response times. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
Axero offers white label iOS and and Android apps for clients wanting to enhance the experience for their users. This wiki provides instructions for how to create a Firebase project when setting up a white label Android app.
Go to https://console.firebase.google.com.
Enter name of your Android application.
Enter the Android package name (Bundle ID) of your application, it should be same for Android and iOS.
Click Download google-services.json file and submit the file in a private case here.
NOTE
If you missed to download the google-services.json file at the first place, you can download it from Project Settings.
Share google-services.json with the Axero team in your case submission.
After creating your Firebase Project, provided below is a detailed guide for enabling and configuring Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) APIs to HTTP v1. It is designed to assist you in transitioning from the legacy FCM API to the new HTTP v1 API, ensuring that your Axero site can continue sending push notifications to Android devices.
Note: You can skip this step if it's enabled and proceed to II. Generate Private Key in Firebase
project_id
PushNotificationFCMApiUrl
https://fcm.googleapis.com/v1/projects/<your project id>/messages:send
client_email
PushNotificationFCMEmail
private_key
PushNotificationFCMPrivateKey
Once completed, your site will be able to continue sending notifications to Android devices after the old API is deprecated!
