Create Forum Post

POST /api/content

Creates a new forum post (discussion reply). Valid for Communifire version 5.2 and above.

Required Parameters How to use Description
API Key Used in the request URL:

Set in header:
request.Headers.Add(Rest-Api-Key, x)		 Communifire REST API key for the Communifire portal you are making the call for.
Forum post JSON Used in the request body This is JSON that represents a post object that you're creating. This should be of the format seen below in the sample given. The required values in this JSON are given below.
EntityType Used in the request body Entity Type of the forum post is 54.
ContentTitle Used in the request body Title of the forum post.
ContentBody Used in the request body Description of the forum post.
ParentContentID Used in the request body ID of the topic under which the post is to be created.
GrandParentContentID Used in the request body The forum Content ID.
SpaceID Used in the request body Unique ID of the space. Space ID should be 0 for Top Level Community.
Optional Parameters How to use Description
ReplyToPostID Used in the request body The ID of the post under which you are going to leave a post.
IsFeatured Used in the request body Used to mark post as "featured".
