When you've registered, you'll receive a verification email. Click the link in the email to confirm your email address.
If auto-approve members is turned on, you can then login immediately.
If auto-approve members is turned off, site administrators and moderators will be notified that a user is pending activation. A site administrator or moderator must approve your account before you can login. You'll receive an email notification when your account has been approved.
You can add any fields to the registration page. You can also hide the registration form to prevent people from registering on your site. Go to Control Panel > People > User Profiles and Edit Registration Page .
