Tags give your content and conversations context and make everything easier to find, while connecting you to similar information. All of the content in Communifire, from blogs and wikis to photos and discussions, can be tagged with keywords. Common tags include departments (marketing, sales, hr) and topics (training, safety, branding). Communifire even suggests popular tags for your content.
When creating content, you can add tags by entering keywords into the tags box. Use spaces to separate multiple tags, and use an underscore or a dash to combine two words.
You can also choose from a list of Popular tags, which appear below the entry box. These are frequently used tags in the community. Click on a tag to add it.
Tags are a powerful search tool. In published content, tags appear at the bottom of the post:
Click a tag on any post to view all content (articles, videos, photos, cases, etc.) related to that tag. For example, clicking the sales tag finds a variety of posts related to sales:
Create a widget of popular tags on a Page Builder page with the Tag Cloud Template .
This list makes it easy to browse and search for popular topics in the community.
Communifire allows you to organize similar tags into tag groups. For example, you could create a tag group for Offices, then add tags for each city (e.g., San Francisco, Denver, Shanghai, etc.):
Check out Tag Groups to learn more.
Hashtags are another way to categorize and add context to your posts. A hashtag is a word or phrase preceded by the hash symbol (e.g., #axero). To add a hashtag, click on the # symbol or type "#" before any key words or phrases related to your post.
Note: #hashtags cannot include spaces or punctuation, (e.g., #HumanResources NOT #Human Resources).
When writing a post, hashtags will look like regular text. However, once posted, they will become links:
Hashtags make it easy to search for updates on a specific topic. Click a hashtag on any post to view all content (videos, articles, photos, etc.) related to that tag.
Edit Existing Tags

Delete Existing Tags
