Mass Email | Communifire Documentation

Send a mass email to several users or everyone in your intranet at once. Use the mass email feature to make announcements or send out urgent communications.

1. Click the gear icon > Control Panel > People > Manage People.
2. Click Options > Mass Email.
3. Select one of the following email types:
   • Select an email template, then choose a template.
     Note: The mass email feature is designed for sending custom emails, not default emails, which are sent automatically by the system (such as content comment notification, event reminder, wall post notification, etc). If you've created custom email templates in Control Panel > System > Email Templates, you can select the custom email template here. Do not select a default email template.
   • Create custom email, and write the email subject and body.
4. Select one of the following as recipients:
   • All active people
   • Selected people, then check the users in the area below. You can search for people by username, email, role, and account status.
5. Click Send Email.
6. Click OK.
