Search Analytics | Communifire Documentation

Search analytics provides an overview of the keywords and tags people search for and the click-through rate. Search analytics includes top level and space searches. Queries in quotes are searches made from clicking tags on content.

To view search analytics, click the  Control Panel > Analytics > Search Analytics. 

You can view Search Analytics by:

• Terms: top searched terms sorted by highest volume of searches
• Activity: filterable log of all search activity

Search Analytics: Terms

Here you can see the top queries and terms searched for, and filter based on Time Period and Space.

Filter by Space

You can filter analytics by space. This will show searches completed in Space Search and in global search with the space selected as a filter.

Filter by Time

You can also filter analytics by date range. Click All Time to open the date range selector.

If you select Custom Range, you can select a specific time period to view.

Search Analytics: Activity

Search Activity gives you a view of all searches completed including:

• Date = Date of search (formatted according to your Localization Settings)
• Search Term = specific term typed into the search bar
• Person = user that made the search
• Clicked Content = specific piece of content that was opened from the search page. Empty means no content was clicked.

Filter by Space and/or Time

Similar to Search Term Analytics, you can filter based on Space and Time Period.

Additionally, you can filter by:

Filter by Person

Begin typing the users name then select from a list of users to view their specific searches

Filter by Search Term

Search for a word to see all matching terms used. This can be helpful when trying to identify similar queries that were used to make optimizations through Promoted Search.
