Can a case be logged on behalf of another user? | Communifire Support

We use the case function to log a lot of IT issues and we were wondering if the case feature offers the ability to log a case on behalf of another user that maybe doesn't have access to platform to do the same?

Interested to know if this is available and/or what a alternative solution might be.

Hi Tobi,

There is not any Ghostwriting for cases. Our best solution to this issue has been to create the case, then have the user sign up for Communifire and @mention them once they have an account. This way they get access to the already created case and can take over from there.

Yes that's what we've been doing.  Where it would be nice to have it attached to the person directly is when we look back at closed cases to see what was done the last time for that particular individual. If they are only mentioned in the case it doesn't work that great when filtering.
