Suggestion: Email notification option

It would be beneficial, at least for wikis, to add an option for authors to enable/disable email notifications.

Some of our users who follow wiki pages are frustrated by particular wiki authors who make frequent edits for grammar and punctuation rather than substantive updates.

Rather than triggering email notifications for every saved edit, it would be helpful to give authors the option to enable/disable alerts (e.g., by adding a check box under "Featured" and "Required reading").

    Hi Maxwell,

We certainly understand where you are coming from. We refer to this forum when we add new functionality to Communifire. We will take it into consideration as we implement new features into Communifire in the future. Thank you for providing such a wonderful suggestion, Maxwell. We really appreciated it.

    Thanks,
    Isha

Absolutely.  The option could be a radio box that says "No notification needed"

This has been brought up multiple times by my organization. This feature is definitely needed.
