Potential issue: Featuring draft articles

After opening a draft article to feature and publish, the article was published but was not sent to our home page carousel as expected. The article only appeared in the carousel after rebuilding the search index. I have not experienced this issue before. It might be a coincidence, but this is also the first time that I've edited a draft article to feature and publish in one step.

    Hi Maxwell,

Just to get the steps right, you saved as a draft, then went back to edit the draft, then published straight from there correct?

We'll be taking a look into this for you.

    Thanks,
    Foster

  • mdrain

Yes, that is the correct sequence.

    Hi Maxwell,

Did this issue only occur once? I tried replicating these steps on both our development environment and PressGaney in the test area and both sites published articles to carousels immediately.

    Thanks,
    Foster

Yes, I've only tried it once. Thanks for testing.
