We have a user that was able to access cases in one of our spaces "workspace" yesterday however today he is not able to access the cases.  Reviewing his permissions he should still be able to see this content however he is receiving the not sufficient permissions message as seen below.

    Hey Jonathan,

Go to Control Panel > System > Advanced System Utilities and Rebuild Caches . If the user still can't access cases after rebuilding caches, confirm that they are a member of the space and have the correct role in Manage Space: People . Search for the user then click Set Role to see which space roles they have.

    Grace,

Thank you for the follow up.  I have reviewed the settings and he is a member of the space and I have rebuilt the cache however he is still not able to access the cases in this space.

    Hey Jonathan,

This is a bug that occurs when the user doesn't have the Case > Create or Edit permissions. I've made our developers aware of the issue. We'll contact you once a fix is available.

In the meantime, as a workaround, you can check the Case > Edit permission for the Member role. This permission allows users to edit their own cases. Users will not be able to edit cases created by other users.
