Recommended Image Settings for Badges

  • Hello all,

I'm looking to see the recommended image settings when creating a badge. I'd like a something that will look good in both normal and dark modes, please.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Dave,

While we don't have an official recommended image setting, one trick is to use a badge icon with a dark border and a light interior, that way it will look good on both dark mode and light mode.

    I hope this helps!

  • Thanks, Foster. That's a helpful starting point and I passed the information along in a recognition meeting I just had.

One more quick question: If I change the image associated with a badge, will the new image override the badge image for people that previously received the badge? We need to adjust a badge image that looks a little less than ideal in dark mode. :)

    Hi Dave,

Yes! Changing a badges image will change it in all locations, even for users who have already received the badge.

    Thanks!

  • Perfect. Thanks again!
