Adding a new "Sort by" option | Communifire Support

Hi, I'm adding a People widget to our intranet and I was hoping I could add a new value into the "sort by" dropdown list. Right now the options are to sort the list by: First Name, Last Name, Date Joined, Points, Username.

The problem is, we've created users in the intranet and then delayed their start date by 1-2 months, so the "Date Joined" value is no longer accurate. It would be much more useful to sort by the "Hire Date" value that we fill in ourselves in the profile.

I believe this has been brought up before – just checking to see if a solution has been created since then.

It isn't possible to add an option to sort the People widget by hire date. There may be a workaround, however. What is the date range of recent hires you'd like to display? E.g. people hired in the last 30 days or 60 days.

Hey Grace – I think 60 days would suffice for the list we're creating. What's the workaround?
