Expiration date not an option

  • As an administrator, I am always able to set expiration dates on articles, but I have been made aware that some moderators do not have that option. I have looked, but I cannot find anything that lets me know if that is a feature or permission to control...can someone let me know?

  • Hi Jennifer,

Anyone should be able to set the expiration date when creating content if content expiration is enabled in the space. Could you share the name of a user who doesn't see the expiration date option and which space this is happening in?

  • My guess is that I do not know how to enable it in the space! The two users who let me know they cannot:

Megan Anderson ; moderator of Training and Development

Julie Springer; moderator in Volunteer Services

    Hi Jennifer,

I enabled content expiration in those two spaces for you. I did this by visiting the spaces then going to Manage Space > Space Settings and checking Content Expiration.
