We are going through each space and sub space and making sure the visibility on each home page is minimal to those not in the Space as a member. So we are changing all the permissions in the Control panel for Guest view and also on the home page itself we are editing so the view for most items is hidden unless you are a member.
However, for some reason, we can't get this one menu item to go away? Meet the Co-Hosts and Production Team. It's a CMS page, the other CMS pages aren't showing and there is an error message when clicked on that says you can't view it without joining. But why is it visible at all? We are able to hide everything else on the navigation menu through permissions?
Hi Tiffany,
The menu item was added by URL, so the space's CMS permissions aren't applied. To change this edit the menu, change the item type to Content then search for the content and select it.
This will apply the space's CMS permissions to the menu item. Non-space-members won't be able to see the menu item.
