Hello,
Is it possible to insert live video to activity stream?
Thank you,
Viktorya
Hi Viktorya,
It is not possible to put the live video directly embedded into the activity stream, though the video can be embedded into other content. When you do this, a small summary will be posted to the activity stream, and users can click this link to go directly to the page.
Alternatively, you can embed the video in a Raw HTML widget, and host this on a pagebuilder page. This way the video will be seen when a user visits the page.
I hope this helps!Foster
Hi Foster,
How can I embed the live video to Raw HTML widget? Please, send the example of code.
Thank you for your response and happy winter holidays,
You can add an iFrame using an embed code with a raw html widget. For example with a youtube video, you could add the following:
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/vrAMRxBB5KI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Alternatively, you could also use the IFrame Widget which will help you add an embed URL without using any code.
In the latest version, we have the following option:
Step 1:Upload a mp4 video via "Activity Stream >> Attach Files" option in a space.
Step 2:After uploading the mp4 video file via that option, the video can be played on the Activity Stream itself:

Thank you!
