We have to email files to people outside of our company fairly frequently, things like price lists and product information. Currently we are able to attach files directly from a shared folder to an email in Outlook, but we want the intranet to be the first line of defense. What is the process for sharing files with people who don't have accounts?
We are primarily using SharePoint, but will have some files uploaded directly to the site.
The best way to share an uploaded file on Communifire is to click the gearbox at the top right of the file, then click the "share" button. This will allow you to send the file link directly to another user.
At the moment, we do not support a way to quickly email the actual file to another user as an attachment. The best way to do this would be to download the file from your hosted file location, and attach it separately.
