Hello. Just checking to confirm current functionality:

    1. Can a specific space be excluded from site-wide search results?
    2. Can a specific subspace be excluded from search results?

    Hey Maxwell,

It isn't possible to exclude content in a space or subspace from search for members of the space.

For non-members of the space, you can make the space private, then check the Space > View and content View permissions. Non-space members will be able to access the space's content via direct link, but the content won't appear in search.

To confirm, you're saying that non-members (guests) could access content in a private space if they're given "View" permissions for the content type?

    Hey Maxwell,

Yes, that is correct, and the Space > View permission must also be checked for the Guest role. Non-space members and non-logged in users count as Guests.

Note that if non-logged in users are allowed to view the site, they would also be able to view the content in the private space. This is when Control Panel > System > General Settings > Site Settings > "Allow access only to registered members" is unchecked.
