How can badges be manually assigned to a user?

  • Foster

    Hi Anubhav,

You can go to a User's Profile and select Badges . Select the Available To Award tab and you can manually award any available badges to that user.

    I hope this helps,

How should the badge be setup so that section appears?

  • Foster

    Hi Anubhav,

Please make sure badges are enabled by going to Control Panel > System > Application Settings.

Once you have confirmed this, confirm that you have badges available to award by going to Content > Badges.

If Badges are enabled and there are badges that are able to be rewarded, you will have to rebuild your cache to make these changes appear.

To do this go to System > Rebuild Search Index, choose Rebuild Caches

We recommend you do this outside of bussniness hours as the site will run slowly as the cache is rebuilding.

If you still do not see badges in the profile section after this has been done, please let us know.

    Thank you,

  • anubhavshah
