Publishing our App

  • We would like to hide our Staff Portal App from the main Life.Church developer account. Do you support publishing the apps using Apple Developer Enterprise Program, or Google Play’s private apps? If so, do you have some documentation for the best practices?

  • Hi Josiah,

Yes we have our WhiteLabel app available to publish the Communifire app with your labeling onto the Apple and Android Store. You can check out our Apple and Google Apps documentation for more information on this!

    Best,
    Foster

  • Hey Foster.

Thank you. I am aware of the information you sent me. I am seeking clarity on if we can publish via the Apple Developer Enterprise Program rather than standard developer program and via google play private apps?

If we can do it via those two options is the process any different?

    Thank you.

    Hi Josiah,

There are different programs that Apple supports, including Apple Developer Program, Apple Enterprise Program and Apple Business Manager.

It is completely based on your requirement which program works best for you, you can contact Apple to discuss on this, because Apple might reject the app later for some reasons that you might miss.

    About the programs:

    • Apple Developer Program helps you to launch the app on the App Store, and it is public. It is mostly straight forward, where you submit the app for approval and Apple checks all guidelines to confirm if the app should be on the store and in within few days, it should be live on the store.
    • Apple Enterprise Program will be helpful if you would like to host the Mobile app on your server, users will have to download the app from a link and once they download, they need to trust your organisation from settings in their phone to open the app.
    • Apple Business Manager is helpful when you would like to manage your app more deeply, and don't want to handle hosting of your private app, you will be able to able to manage it within the Business Manager. More details are given in the above link.

For Android we can provide you apk file and you can upload it anywhere you want, private store, public store, or host it on your site and users can download it with the link that you provide.

Let us know if you need more information.
