i needed to ask you if there is any e-commerce module that you would recommend to use with my communifire environment

if there is any third party e-commerce or a way to integrate with any well known e-commerce vendor

    Hey MOP Intranet,

Can you please provide an example on what you're looking to do within your intranet? How would you use an e-commerce vendor in your intranet?

  • MOPintranet

    Hey Matt

    Its been so long

Anyways we are looking for an e-commerce module that is capable of listing different products / services under a number of categories then allowing the intranet users to collect their needs in their personalized cart before proceeding to the checkout where they are navigated to online payment.

We will use this in both products marketing and selling so something like amazon / ebay but on a very small scale

and hotel / restaurant reservations as well so maybe something like booking.com

do you think you might have any recommendations for such use cases

Hey Heba! It's great to hear from you!

We don't have any direct e-commerce integrations, but you can include a 3rd party site using the below methods:

    1. Link out to an e-commerce site. Create a graphic for your storefront and add it to your homepage, then link to your e-commerce store in a new tab.
    2. If your e-commerce provider has embed codes, you can embed your store in Communifire.
    3. Use the IFrame Widget to include a 3rd party site.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hey Matt, Glad to hear from you too, actually yes i do have another question

can you share with us or recommend other e-commerce vendors that seem to be working smoothly with communifire

  • mtrujillo

    Hey Heba,

The only flexible e-commerce platform that comes to mind is www.shopify.com. Which ever vendor you choose, ask about how to embed products/services in your intranet. Most providers should support embed codes or iframes.

Please let us know how this turns out, we would love to know!
