API Question on Add Files - where to get FileDirectoryID

I need to automate the loading of a bunch of files into multiple Communifire spaces. I'd like to use the Add File web method to do this. The add file api requires a FileDirectoryID id/number in the web service call, but there doesn't seem to be a place in the api to get that id.

My question is where/how could I get the root files directory ID of a space? All of the web methods assume that you already know that FileDirectoryID, but there doesn't appear to be a place where I could call a method to "get root file directory id" or "get all directories" on a space to then get that Id.

    Thanks for any help

    Hey Andy,

Use /api/spaces/{SpaceID}/files/directories/root to get the directory ID of a space's root directory.
