I wanted to know if the Search capabilities on the Site, searched the department field value when you did a search?  It doesn't seem to be working.  I've restarted site and rebuilt indexes and still nothing.

    Hey Alex,

Make sure that the department field is included in search.

    1. Go to Control Panel > People > User Profiles
    2. Edit Edit Profile Page
    3. On the Department field, click the gear icon > Edit properties
    4. Check "Content in field included in search"
    5. Click Save Widget
    6. Click Publish changes

You can also add a department search filter to the People Directory page.

Edit that page from Admin dashboard > People > User Profiles.

One of the widgets you can drag on it is a "Filter."

    Bryce and Grace,

Both of your suggestions we currently have Department set for searching and filtering and it still is not working.

    Hey Alex,

Please test this again after your site receives the latest patches.
