This feature will be deprecated soon. Please do not use isolated spaces.
An isolated space is an unlisted and unsearchable space in the community. Non-members cannot find or view an isolated space or its content.
An isolated space can only be formally found if a user receives an invitation to join the space. A user can find an isolated space if they are given a link to the space.
Users who are invited to the space can join an isolated space. Users can also request to join an isolated space. If a space is isolated but has unmoderated membership in Manage Space: Settings, then anyone can join the space.

You can make private content accessible to non-members by checking Guest View permissions in Manage Space: Permissions. The permission Space > View must also be checked. See Private Space for more details on how to make private content accessible to non-members.

When you convert an isolated space to a public or private space, permissions remain the same. You must change Guest permissions for each Content Types in Manage Space: Permissions after converting an isolated space to a public space. If the space becomes public, it will appear in Browse Spaces and in Search . If the space becomes private, it will remain unlisted and unsearchable.
