Is there a way to hide the option for external guests to invite others?
Hey Claude,
Add the following code to CSS Overrides .
#AddEditEventLargeForm .ax-form-section .sub-section label {display: none !important;}

Is there a way to make Location a required field and then to also use the Location to display on the calendar, rather than the title?
Hey Holly,
It isn't possible to do this. You can enable event workflow and decline events without a location. You can also create a Page Builder template that displays the event location instead of the title, then use the template on a Page Builder page.
Thanks Grace! I'll check into using Page Builder for what I'm needing. Another quick question though, could I use a CSS override to rename 'Title' of an event for only a specific space, or does that affect every event no matter the space?
Which element exactly do you want to change?
Use the following CSS. Replace "Custom name" with the text you want to use. Replace x-custom-space-human-resources with your space's CSS body tag. See CSS Overrides > CSS for Spaces for details on how to find a space's body tag.
x-custom-space-human-resources
.x-custom-space-human-resources .axero-calendar-addevent-modal .form-horizontal .control-group:nth-child(1) .control-label {visibility: hidden;} .x-custom-space-human-resources .axero-calendar-addevent-modal .form-horizontal .control-group:nth-child(1) .control-label:after {content: "Custom name"; visibility: visible;}
Hey Grace!
I attempted this change finally and no dice :-/ Should I put in a case for this?
Try pressing Ctrl + Shift + R. Also please edit your profile here and add your Communifire website address.
That worked great! Thanks, Grace!
The absence of time zones when creating events is still confusing users. If I'm in the Central Time Zone creating an event for 3 PM in our office in the Eastern Time Zone, do I enter 3 PM or 2 PM?
Hey Maxwell,
In that case, enter 2 PM. Another option is to change your time zone in Preferences before you create the event. In that case, you can enter 3 PM. After you create the event, you can change your time zone preference back.
If an event has multiple organizers, do they all get email notifications and emails when someone RSVPs to that event?
Hi Christine,
Yes, all event organizers will receive notifications and email notifications when people RSVP to an event.
Is there a setting I can change to make the URL in the "Website" field a clickable link?
Hi Randy,
There isn't a way to make the Website field clickable currently. I've asked our development team to make the field clickable. We'll let you know when it's fixed and will update your site to apply the fix.
In the meantime, you can include the website in the event description and make it clickable from there.
The Website field for events is now clickable. Please submit a private case here to request an update for your site.
