Communifire has various content types for publishing news, posting thoughts, discussing ideas, collecting feedback, and more. 

Content Basics 

There are several ways you can interact with content in Communifire, such as commenting, liking, rating, bookmarking, and more. Interacting with content engages you, the author, and other people. Content interactions encourage collaboration and increase engagement.

Articles 

Articles are formal written content that inform readers about a certain topic. Articles include information from research and interviews. Articles come from reliable news sources, and are generally longer than blogs.

Blogs 

Blog posts are written content that provide an opinion about a certain topic. Blog posts are less formal and typically shorter than articles.

Calendar 

The calendar helps you organize and keep track of events and personal activities. Track event RSVPs and stay on top of all your important activities. Features such as comments, event resources, and calendar sharing make event planning and coordination even easier.

Cases 

Cases are great for tracking just about anything, from customer support and help desk requests, to software bugs and project tasks. You can set up as many trackers as you like, because each space you create has one built right into its fabric.

Manage Space: CMS Pages 

Content Management System (CMS) in Communifire is a way to create custom pages with static content.

Discussions 

Discussions are organized into a set of forums which users can post to. Users can post a discussion in a forum to discuss a specific topic. Users can like and reply to discussions and replies. Users can subscribe to forums as well as individual discussions. Replies to a discussion can be marked as the answer to the discussion.

Files 

Communifire's file management system is sophisticated and flexible. You can upload files to spaces as well as to the top level community, and organize them into folders. In spaces, you can decide the actions different types of users are allowed to perform on files. You can give files properties such as a title, description, and tags, and upload new versions of files. All the versions you upload are kept in the system, and you can revert to previous versions at any time.

Ideas 

Ideas are suggestions that users can post and vote on. Ideas have a title, description, category, and stage.

Photos 

You can upload photos to Communifire and organize them in photo albums. Users can download, like, rate, and comment on photos and albums.

Polls and Surveys 

Polls and surveys provide a way to take votes and opinions from space members.

Tasks 

Tasks are to-do items relevant to a space. Tasks are separated into task lists and are assigned to specific users. Tasks have a priority and status and can have a due date and estimated completion time. You can sort tasks and move tasks to different task lists. Users can comment on and follow tasks.

Videos 

Sharing and watching videos in Communifire is convenient and easy. Share videos from your computer, from popular services like YouTube and Vimeo, or with an embed code. Features such as likes, comments, and ratings encourage engagement and interaction.

Wikis 

Wikis are easily-accessed pages of useful content. Wiki pages can be organized into a hierarchy. Users can like, follow, and comment on wiki pages.
