Recognition analytics charts how badges are given and earned, lets you break the numbers down by demographic, and exports them as a CSV file. It has three subsections:

1. Community: It provides a visual chart which presents an illustrative overview of recognition activities.
2. Recognition Activity: Provides an extensive record of recognition activities, displaying details such as the recipient's name, badge type, and recognition program.
3. People Statistics: The People Statistics tab presents a well-organized collection of all users, providing essential insights into their participation in recognition programs.

Example uses

• How well is our new recognition program being adopted?
• Which badges are being awarded the most frequently?
• Which users are giving and receiving the most badges?

To open this report, a person's site role needs the "View Admin Section" permission in Badges - Permissions:

Community

This subsection charts recognition activity. Filter it by recognition program and by space, and set the date range. A recognition program is a set of badges that people are awarded, or earn by meeting a goal.

On the Recognition Analytics Community page, you can find access to five different chart reports from the select in the chart or the statistics cards below the chart:

• Total Badges: Total number of badges, combining both kudos and challenge badges into a single count.
• Kudos Received: The overall number of badges received by users from their peers.
• Challenges: The total count of successfully completed challenges.
• Points: The sum of earned points through different activities on the site.
• Active People: The count of people who have participated in recognition activities.

You have the option to access additional filters by clicking on the the  gear icon where custom filters include:

• Spaces: Show only people who belong to chosen spaces.
• Profile Field: Fine-tune your analysis using profile fields like Department, Company, Country, the Reports to, or any Picklist field.

Timeframe 

Pick the timeframe to analyze. The default is Last 30 Days; you can also choose a day, a month, the past 12 months, or a custom range.

Recognition Activity

This section presents a comprehensive list of recognition activities, including the recipient's name, badge type, recognition program, and the date of occurrence.

Filtering

Filter the recognition activity report by:

• Recognition Program: Show one program's activity.
• Type: Show one kind of badge.
• User's Name: Find one person by first or last name.

You can access more filters by clicking on the  gear icon. You can apply any number of profile fields as filters on the page.

• Profile Fields: Narrow the report by a profile field, such as Department, Company, Country, Reports to, or any Picklist field.

Additional columns

Besides filtering, you can also add additional columns to the table. You can add profile field data for both Granters and Receivers. And you can choose whether these new columns appear only in the CSV download or on the screen as well.

Timeframe

Pick the timeframe to analyze. The default is All Time; you can also choose a day, a month, the past 12 months, or a custom range.

Download

Click Download CSV to save the recognition activity report as a CSV file. Any filters you set apply to the download.

People Statistics

The People Statistics tab lists every person with their kudos given and received, their challenges completed, and their most recent kudos and challenge.

Filtering

Filter the people statistics report by:

• User's Name: Find one person by first or last name.
• Recognition Program: You can narrow down the list by selecting a particular recognition program.

Click the gear icon for more filters:

• Spaces: Show only people who belong to chosen spaces.
• User Roles: You can further segment users by their assigned roles (e.g., administrator, member) within the platform.
• Profile Fields: Narrow the list by a profile field, such as About Me, Company, Country, or any Picklist field.

Additional columns

You can also add columns to the table for the profile fields of the people listed, and choose whether they appear on screen or only in the CSV download.

Timeframe

Pick the timeframe to analyze. The default is All Time; you can also choose a day, a month, the past 12 months, or a custom range.

Download

Click Download CSV to save the people statistics report as a CSV file. Any filters you set apply to the download.
